Goutte d´argent means silver drop in French and is a unique wine, fermented with Japanese sake yeast. By useing the sake yeast the wine is vinified at a lower temperature but during more days, in this case 90 to 110 days. This process gives us a Goutte d´argent Chardonnay, wine with more complexity, developed flavours and texture.
It is a balanced wine with taste of custard apple, beewax, honey and pastries, and umami flavour. Pairs perfect with Salmon, Asian food, appetizers or just to drink on its own.
